About Colinton Care Home

A real home reflects the personalities of the people who live there, and at Colinton Care Home, we’ve created a place you’d be proud and happy to call your own.

Set within beautifully landscaped grounds, Colinton offers a peaceful retreat in the suburbs of Edinburgh. Our 53 bedrooms are thoughtfully arranged across our nursing and dementia care units, ensuring each resident has the right space to meet their needs. Spread across three floors, our home features smaller living and dining rooms on each level, providing a quiet and cosy atmosphere, while our main lounge and garden summerhouse bring everyone together for social moments and relaxation.

We understand that moving into Colinton is a big transition, and we’re here to make it as smooth as possible. Whether it’s helping you arrange your room just the way you like or bringing your favourite newspaper each morning, we focus on the little details that make the biggest difference—because feeling at home is about more than just a place, it’s about feeling comfortable, valued, and truly cared for.
